OMG, this is ridiculous, this is a classic Dickens novel and you fools say "meh". You are stupid, illiterate fools, go buy a twilight book and rate it five to equal your ignorance factor.

Comming from a family which must have descended from the Scrooge family, I read this book every Christmas to remind me what I do not want to become. Read this book and I wish all a Very Merry Christmas!

A Christmas Carol is one of the most acclaimed and well known works of the social commentator Charles Dickens. His criticism of the social norms of the Victorian era is well thought out and integrated with the air of munificence associated with Christmas time. It is one of the easier reads of Charles Dickens. It is a classic story that almost anyone can pick up and enjoy.

This is a great classic. Should be read by every one. I'm not a fan of all Charles Dickens novels ... some of them are difficult to capture his meaning, as he uses archaic words that are seldom, if ever, used today. But this one is fabulous & easy to follow.
